After a four year interval a new issue of Furore magazine has appeared. The cover story deals with the lost but rediscovered scores of the background music of Laurel & Hardy. Additionally, an exhaustive ten-page story describes the genesis of Klaus Voormann’s iconic cover design of The Beatles’ Revolver album, now fifty years ago, and traces the source of each photograph used therein. We also revisit the barren urban landscape of a randomly chosen intersection in Los Angeles, and answer the pressing question where Laurel and Hardy filmed the tunnel scene in Another Fine Mess (1930).
Furore is a gazette compiled and designed by Piet Schreuders and published at highly irregular intervals since 1975.
